Im watching Moneyball tonight and I interviewed Mr. Bishop so my speaking  and listening skills are done. I also have begun reading past NHL magazines to help me organize and create my magazine. I will start writing my articles next week and look for possible advertisements to add in my magazine for a more legitimate look.

We all worked on the course evaluation in class so that was fun. I also finalized the calendar for when stuff has to get done and Im going to watch moneyball and read past hockey magazines for me reading and listening skills. A balloon was popped today in class which was far out bro...Im not really into these blogs so maybe we wont have to do these as much. Any other haters?? Im going to meet with Mr. Bishop today because he was just a little too busy for me yesterday OH SNAP! Playoffs are coming up yaaaaaaaaa. Now ill have something to watch instead of Paul's facial expressions.

Interview Update

So I have written down a page of questions to ask Mr. Bishop when I see him tomorrow during A block to interview him. I have a few about what were his favorite moments and least favorite. Also what advise he would give future sports journalists and his favorite perks of being a web designer and web master. ANyone have any other questions that you think I should ask him??

Another Update

I have also found a book to read. It is Moneyball! It's about the success of a baseball team and I will read that because it can transfer over to my hockey magazine through its sports and success connection.

Who missed my posts??? Well I'm back! I have written down questions for my interview and have narrowed down the articles for my magazine. It's looking better than better.

Herrrrro!
So I've just found a gem in a haystack! I've been informed that the new web guy was previously a web designer for who else but the one and only Boston Bruins. Now I know your probably like no way!! But WAY! So I emailed him and we are scheduling an interview for next week and I'll be getting insights on the sports journalism industry and learning about his experiences working for the Boston Bruins.
I've also been finalizing the idea's for article topics for my magazine and gathering pictures that I will add to the magazine.
Buckle up...this project is on a roll!

My First Post

I have begun working on my project. I purchased the software for magazine building and the templates.

I am in the process of outlining my pages for the magazine, so I am thinking and researching different topic and article idea's and thinking about adding add's into my magazine to make it look legit.

I am stuck on deciding to highlight only the Eastern conference playoff teams or the Eastern and Western conference playoff teams...any idea's??
