So I've just found a gem in a haystack! I've been informed that the new web guy was previously a web designer for who else but the one and only Boston Bruins. Now I know your probably like no way!! But WAY! So I emailed him and we are scheduling an interview for next week and I'll be getting insights on the sports journalism industry and learning about his experiences working for the Boston Bruins.
I've also been finalizing the idea's for article topics for my magazine and gathering pictures that I will add to the magazine.
Buckle up...this project is on a roll!
Hello Conor. It sounds like you are onto a good start with your project. A good idea for you to do would be to have all the questions written down you want to ask the web guy before going into the interview. That way you are prepared and you don't forget anything important you want to ask him. If you take good notes during your interview, it will help you tremendously in your writing. Maybe even take a picture of him to put in your magazine. Similar to your project, I am getting insight from the senior class on their most memorable moment at LA or what they will miss the most next year. This information like you is helping me learn about their experiences and is helping me write about mine.
